Step 1: To create an MP3 file, we recommend that you use iTUnes as your file manager on your computer (free to download at the Apple website).

Step 3: Go to your iTunes Music Library and right click on the song you want to convert to an MP3 file format.
Step 4: When you right click on a song in your library, one of the options that appears will be “Create MP3 version” or “Create AAC Version” (depending on the version of iTunes your are using. Choose this option and your song will be duplicated within your iTunes library as an MP3 formatted song file.
Step 5: Once the conversion process is complete (only takes seconds), you can then drag and drop the MP3 song file from your iTunes Library to your MU820.
Step 6: It is important to note that some artists songs are “locked” which prevents you from converting them into an MP3 format. If a song file is locked, you will be informed of this fact when attempting to convert it.

My TunesTube is not being recognized by my computer
You most likely have a Micro SD slot version of the TunesTube if your PC is not recognizing it. With this TunesTube model you need to load your music files on the Micro SD card before sliding it into the TunesTube. You should have received a Micro SD card USB docking unit with your TunesTube for this purpose, but you need to purchase a micro SD card separately - Approximately $8 - $10. Also, with this model of the TunesTube, you only connect to your computer via the USB cable to charge the internal battery.
If you have a TunesTube with a 3.5mm jack, this particular model has 2GB of internal memory and your computer should recognize it when you attach it via the USB-to-3.5mm cable. If your PC is not recognizing this type of TunesTube, you may have a device register corruption issue with your PC.
